Synopsis
Chance Love is an entrepreneur and advocate for those who hear voices, have visions, and experience bizarre perceptions. Chance Love attended college and entered the workforce before experimenting with life. Exposure to drugs, involvement in the black market, and trying to pursue the American dream ended up being too much. These ingredients were the backdrop for a series events that led to psych wards visits and a diagnosis of bipolar I and schizophrenia disorder.
Winning Life Back is an exploration of recovery about time spent before, during, and after periods of divine madness, isolation, and treatment. This work disseminates the wisdom that can be garnered from extreme experiences of mental states and the need to educate narratives of mental health and recovery.
Chance Love explores his experience and touches on lessons learned that are relevant to the world at large. By sharing and examining experience, it is possible to see that there is more going on during the schizophrenic experience than meets the eye. Chance Love relates the underlying misconceptions about the schizophrenia through his lived experiences.
Through research, study, a vision of what the experience for those who hear voices, see visions, have delusions, and have bizarre perceptions begins to form. By the end of the narrative, through processing historical experiences, Chance Love relates a hopeful message for a better future for those who suffer from schizophrenia and how society can learn and benefit from our human narrative.
